During the course of my work, I often times have materials left over. Otherwise, I'm asked to replace something and the old item is still perfectly usable. Other items are personal items that I have decided to list for sale.
I am also a big fan of "Mankato Free Cycle". This is a group of people around Mankato and the surrounding communities that help each other out. Rather than throw good stuff into the garbage, people "post" their un-needed items. If anyone else wants it, they respond, and come pick it up. Best of all - its all FREE! That is one of the few conditions that are made of the group - anything posted has to be given away. I have posted tons of stuff that I've given away, and have also received just as much in return.
